Eddie Camacho Coach

Coach Eddy Camacho was born and raised in the San Fernando valley and attended Sylmar High school. He was a 4 time letter winner in baseball . Coach Eddy and teammate Ivan Lopez combined to throw 4 straight no hitters for the Spartans. For that Coach Eddy was named All state his senior year in High School. He along with coach Al were teammates at Glendale community college and was also inducted into the GCC hall of fame.

Eddy was a two way player at GCC playing in the outfield as well as serving as one of the teams three starters both years. He then attended cal state Northridge where he excelled on the mound earning himself a contract with the New York Mets. It was here where coach eddy found his niche for pitching as he only spent one year in A ball and owns a career 2.94 ERA he spent 5 years in the New york mets farm system with the majority of time being spent in the upper levels double A and triple A. Coach Eddy also was part of the Arizona Fall League where the next way of major league talent in brought in to showcase itself against other top talent. Eddy also spent winter playing in the Puerto Rican Winter League the past 5 years until his retirement in 2014. Eddy was a kinesiology major in college and is highly skilled in training athletes.
